Meet Our Pastor

Our Church, our Community
Niagara Heights moved to its current location in Confederation Heights in 1984. As a “community within the community”, we are active in the Niagara Region. Our congregation meets Sundays at 10:30 am for worship and celebration.
As a congregation, Niagara Heights Church of the Nazarene strives to have a positive Christian influence in our community and in our society. Those who are believers in the Christian faith are challenged and encouraged so that they may be strong in what they believe. Those who are not practicing Christians are welcome to be a part of Niagara Heights to discover how a relationship with Jesus can be life changing. As a compassionate community of believers we care for one another and for others, meeting physical, social, and emotional needs as well as spiritual.
Our congregation is committed to sharing God’s love, grace, and peace with others. We are a friendly congregation, ready to laugh with one another in good times and to cry with one another in sad times. And we are a congregation that is committed to honour God in all that we do.
Our Background
Founded in 1908, the Church of the Nazarene continues to work towards seeing the Great Commission worked out in practical ways. The denominational mission statement is: “Making Christ-like Disciples in the Nations.” With more than 30 000 churches and 2.6 million members worldwide, we are doing just that. Three distinct characteristics mark the church of the Nazarene:
We are a Christian People. We are a Holiness People. We are a Missional People.
Our Mission
Proclaiming the Saving Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
Producing Radical Disciples of Jesus Christ
Growing Healthy Churches
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
MATTHEW 28:19
